What we use the API for
Authenticate the user; read/write pins and boards they choose; basic account context needed to post catalog content to a board they select. Not used for unrelated purposes.
Pinterest-related data we store
OAuth tokens, token expiry, selected board id for integration and scheduled posting; API responses may exist briefly in server memory during a request.
When you disconnect
Using Disconnect Pinterest removes the stored integration from our database (OAuth tokens, saved board id) and clears Pinterest-related session cookies; we do not retain those credentials for marketing or resale after disconnect. Hosting, security, and routine backups may still contain transient or aggregate data for a limited time in the ordinary course of our infrastructure; we do not use that data to re-enable Pinterest without a new connection by you.
No resale
We do not sell, license, or redistribute Pinterest content or Pinterest-derived data to third parties; pins are for the user's boards in connection with Storage listings.
